Need Clown Fish Help

Hi i just got a marroon clown fish, my fist fish in the tank and now he is just sitting on the bottom under my pump digging holes with is tail. he is eating but is this normal for a new fish?

They do that in the lfs also. If he is eating and doesn't looked stressed, I'd just keep an eye on it for now. Certainly, sitting on the bottom is not what they usually do, but, eating is a better sign to be optimistic. Make sure your params are OK. SH

This is fine for a maroon clown. Mine did this whenever i changed the layout of the tank around. For some reason I find maroons a little bolder at making homes in substrate etc when compared to percs etc that love to hangout under glass bracing bars or filter outlets!

Yeah my clarkii does the same thing randomly, i think hes just bored and having fun.
