Fish Herder
K, I am planning a totally dutch style tank. Since I don't have a large one I wanna make this count!
More plants than fish and would like to upgrade my light to a higher wattage.
Thinking about c02 as well.
I am searching around for a nice piece of wood but plants will come first. Harder to go creek hopping with a 17 month old baby hehe.
Sand substrate, will ammend soil and light for the right plants.
I need
One true focal plant, I'm thinking red with broadish leaves. (love red) Mid or background.
Something relativly fast growing to work as a carpet I want to make a rock/plant wall.
Something to hang/drape off rocks and wood. (love flowing and full)
Some small spiky grass type plant, maybe that grows in clumps for mid-fore ground.
I want to try for different textures without going too overboard, lol.
Soooo I'm handing this one over to ya'll for suggestions. Our LFS suck so I'm gonna order online so could probably find anything yall post.
Cost is a factor cause hubby is the only one working so one paycheck. lol
LFS charge 7-10.00 for a half dead plant and it makes me sick.
