Okay, I have a 3 usg tank that is 33x17x22 cm. I have black gravel. And a T5-6 watt fluorescent bulb...whose colour temperature seems to be cool. It has 250 lumens. My calculations came out to be 5 wpg and .45 lpcm2. I need advice on what kinds of plants I can have. I don't plan on getting a CO2 difuser...but if I have to use those tablets I will (if they are even advisable). I'm a newbie at this planted tank stuff, so I know I don't want to handle anything too difficult. Of course the first plants I know I can go to are the java fern and java moss, but I'm wondering if I have greater options than that.

Oh, and the only fish in this tank is a betta, so it shouldn't tear up the plants.

Edit: Also forgot to add that the water conditioner I have also acts as a fertiliser that adds iron and potassium. I planned for a planted aquarium originally, but due to a miscommunication in product labelling, purchased terrarium plants that weren't officially aqautic.

Well I'll get the ball rolling for a friend. :)

You know that big fugly white peice of moulded fake rock you have in there? Cover it in java moss (Vesicularia Dubyana) asap. :D
