Naughty Sam!

Caught my cat Sam drinking from my comet tank.

To my surprise the fish were actually swimming up to her, I think they nipped her a couple of times too because she pulled her head back rather quickly a few times.

I've had many a fry "dissapear" when the cat managed to shove away the lid and drink the water
Only for all the fry to swim to the lapping tongue - and be lapped up !!!

Now the lid is taped down

Oh that's a shame. Lucky enough the comets are just big enough she wouldn't be able to lick them up like that. I usually have a bug screen tied on over the top but I just finished cleaning the tank and hadn't put it on yet.

How adorable!! Those are brave little comets.

Yeah. When I'm moving things in their tank, they'll swim right up and nip at my arms or swim into my hands. I can actually hand feed them, it's so cute.

Your tank looks like my first tank I had comets too. How big is it? I think mine was 60-70G. Sam is adorable.

It's only a 20g. The comets are in quarantine right now and once they're big enough they'll be moving into my dads 30,000g.
