After 2 days on vacation here I cant wait to go home tomrrow afternoon...Why? My new native tank of course!

Last week I rescued two fish from a nearby creek that was almost dried up...Both fish are about 6 inches and about equal size. After having them in the tank for about a week I had to go on vacation to my grandparents and so I placed about a dozen 1 inch Bull-Head Minnow fry in the tank, to keep them full over the weekend Since naturally these predatory fish eat bugs, worms, smaller fish, shrimp, crayfish.

Ill be posting photos monday of the native tank...

Here are the two fish:

1 Sunfish/Pumpkinseed (very similar to each other)

1 Rockbass

Are you planning on keeping them? They might have some serious issues with one another after a while, especially for how big they are. We always got ours at about an inch or so, less problems with getting them to eat or dying from stress. Hope you have better luck than I did though.

Yea im not planning on keeping them, simply keeping them until the stream fills back up and acclimating them back in...

I also have two rock formations for each of them, and some plants to make them feel at home. As for nipping, the both dont bother each other as long as the other doesnt go near their rock...
