Could someone please help me ID a tang
It was labelled a Blue Spot Naso Tang, but I'm unsure exactly which species it is.

I think it is the same as this picture.

Blue Spot Tang

Thank you.

(and yes I am aware of the adult size of these fish)

I think it may be the juvenile colouration of Naso Unicornis - but I'm still struggling to find confirmation.

Hope Navarre or someone can help

just an update - still no ID, but this fish has so far proven to be a fantastic buy.

It is the second friendliest fish I have had (porcupine puffer being first), swimming around right at the front of the tank and following me. I think it has had a previous owner who has returned it because it got too big. It is not at all shy or scared.
The colouration has really come out now it has settled in, and it is in the process of eating me out of house and home.
It loves thrashing sheets of seaweed.

As a great bonus, it has also made all the other fish less shy, they all swim about in the open now, even when I am moving around next to the tank.

Until I get a definate ID, I am going to assume it will get to two feet.
Time to start saving for that ten foot tank!

- Just noticed I have said "it" a lot. I am going to say "him" from now on, although I'm not sure how dimorphic these tangs are, and have no basis for my guess that he is male.
