Hello all,

I recently just purchased a 55 US Gallon fish tank and transferred my gouramis into. I now have two spare 10 US Gallon tanks laying around and am not sure as to what I should do. I found the Nano Reef Forum here and decided that I would like to try my hands at one of these. First, I have a few questions.

1. Is 10 US Gallons big enough for what I want to do?
2. How many fish can comfortably fit in a 10gal tank? (more or less than FW)
3. Any beginner sites someone can refer me to?
4. Are pH levels and such different in SW tanks?
5. I'm also looking to add some live rock in.
6. Any special filtration system needed?

I am very willing and able to provide the necessary time and care for SW fish, so any help is welcome!

Please let me know!

Jim C.

1) Yes
2) Less the freshwater, One maybe two fish.
3) The pins here
4) Yes, about 8.2 or so for SW
5) Liveaquaria.com has some beautifil live rock if you want to buy there.
6) If you are going for live rock that IS your filtrations. Just remember you need 10 to 20 times your gallons in flowrate.
