Nandopsis Salvini

Would a couple of small Nandopsis salvini be ok to put in my established Malawi
tank?

It's hard to say with no info on your tank. What size is the tank? What are the tank mates? Filtration?
Oh and as they are South Amercan i would say no as African and South American require different water. But others may disagree...

Unless you're a breeder, the water params would be exactly the same for both African and South/Central American fish unless they are F1's. They were bred and raised as fry in the exact same water.

I wouldn't suggest anything but a species specific only tank when it comes to Malawi's tho based upon the fact that they have a different temperament and food reqirements.
