Whats your fav aqua plant and tell about it...

Hard to say-- here's some of my favs:

Java Moss: Grows super fast, clings to anything, needs little light, soaks up tons of excess nutrients, and looks cool.

Java Fern: Way too many reasons to love java ferns.

Anubias nana: Slow grower, needs little lighting, frames tank well.

Hair Grass: Good for putting highlights in the foreground of the tank, good for foreground, good for holding riccia down, just good.

Micranthemum Micranthemoides: Beautiful plant, can be foreground, mid ground or background in a small tank.

Hygrophilia Polysperma
The only thing that grows like mad in my tank. Super duper nutrient mop. Helping in the fight against the dreaded algae. The fish look great swimming between the stems and there's a great effect when the fish dart through it and knock hundreds of tiny oxygen bubbles off the leaves.

Ahhhh probably purple cabomba. Fast growers and nutrient mops. Plus I really think they look swanky.

Of those I have kept, I woudl say Java ferns. They are extremely hardy, and they even grew plantlets (though they all died ).

At this point in time i would have to say most of the Vallisnerias. Especially the Jungle Val. It has been growing quite well in my tank for about a year or two.

I would go for Java fern, almost imposible to find but I got some and love it..
