name for my new fish

Hi,

Iv just got my first Betta and I want a thai sounding name for him. Hes got an amazing red tail so was thinkin something along the lines of fire or flame in thai, but other suggestions would be welcome. Iv tried to find an online english-thai dictionary but couldnt find one. Does anybody have any ideas where I could find one or if anyone knows thai that would be great!

Someone posted a great site with several thousand names for fish - and they were broken down into themes, like cartoon characters, celebrities, different cultures - like asian, african, etc.

Hmm - I can't remember who it was though...
I'll go see if I can find that post and come back w/the link if I can find it.

I don't speak Thai in any way, shape, or form, but there are numerous sites out there that have little Thai vocabulary sites out there.
