Hi.

I have a bad case of White spot, its not to surprising as its a new Tank but i have always used Myxazin . I know you have to use quite alot more than some of the others but its safer i have always been told.
You can't overdose.
Is this true...Wondered on other Myxazine users?

Myxazin is a bacteriacide and wont kill any whitespot. Try something like protozin or Interpets white spot treatment or even King brtitish.
You need to make sure you dont have scaleless fish such as loaches and raise the temperature up a bit to around 32c with plent of aeration.

Are you sure about this?

Yep - it's Protozin you need. Well, if you want to use that brand. I'd use King British myself, as the Protozin didn't work for me, but it does for other folks.

I've got Myxazin in front of me, and it's definitely not for white spot. White spot isn't bacterial, it's a parasite.

i used Myxazin for bacterial fin rot no to long ago , from what i remember the bottle said its only used for white spot in marine tanks not freshwater..
