Mystery Bump On Gourami

Hi everyone,

I was hoping to get some input on this mystery bump that has developed on the side of my dwarf neon blue gourami's mouth. You can't tell in the pictures, but there's a small single thread in the center of the pimple like bump.

Does the thread look like cotton, just make sure it not a parasite, like nylon with a forked tail.
The pimple is it red, or any red around the edges of the bump.

THIS IS SO WEIRD I posted almost the exact post last night about my dwarf gourami!

Exactly the same looking fish and in the same place. This morning I wake up and it's gone and there's just a lump now and it looks like a spot does before it comes to a head (sorry but that's the only way I can describe it). Last night it looked like a whisker was growing out of it and it was about 3mm long. it didn't look like Wilder describes though so I wondered whether it was just a flappy bit of skin that's now come away. I'm perplexed!

Im thinking that it is probly some kind of internal parasite...
