Just wanted to dedicate a thread to my Yellow Gourami who passed away a couple of days back.
She was the mother of the tank, kind of matriarcal in that sense....
The reason why she meant quite so much was because she survived our newbie mistakes, whatever we threw at her (accidently) she battled through.
She got throught the cycle (when we thought that cycling was performed on a bike), Shortly and Expectedly afterwards she was not well - had fungus and was treated accordingly.....
She has survied bullying from randy male Gourami's (to the point where wer had to sell on the male).
Since then (4/5 years ago) she has been a great addition to our tank and been a real character.
Cheers to her and hope she has a nice waterhole to herself in fishy heaven!
