I took this picture yesterday evening. This is the first one taken of this lil' girl or guy. The LFS said it's a Wild Ram,
but could it be a German Blue Ram? This one has faint black or no stripes at all on its dorso compared to the one GBR
that I have, and the black stripes on its body isn't nearly as black as my GBR's. Beats me. I dunno exactly what it is,
so I'll just call it what they told me, unless you guys/gals say there's no such thing as a Cichlid called a Wild Ram.
I haven't been able to find one on the internet yet.

Beautiful fish, a real winner :). But, I agree with the horrible text color, I had to highlight it to be able to read it .

God Bless,

My backrounds white, how do you think my eyes feel

Sorry about the text color. I never dreamed it would hurt anyone's eyes, and I shouldv'e known that half in here if not most have white a b/g. Mine's set on dark-blue. I was just trying to match the color of the majority of the Ram... the lemon candy color on its front side.

Thanks on the quality of the picture. I'm trying to learn all the tricks to become good enough to get a freelance job taking pictures of anything that's beautiful; from fish to sunsets, to Christmas lights, and people. I was told if I get good enough, I can do wedding photos. But like everyone, I work and sleep, do the bulletins for my church and whatever else they have me do in the communications field, run errands and do chores, so I don't have a whole lot a time for cameras, but I try to :)

This evening at about 5:00pm, I bought a new tank... a 55G. Now I have no clue how I'm gonna do all this correctly so that the fish won't get New Tank Syndrome. The LFS told me to use the same gravel, but I'm afraid of all the pollutants inside it that has accumulated since August. I'll be gainning just 9 gallons, but it's long and just as tall and deep as the tank I have now, execept for most of the center to the rear,`cos its a European Bow style.

Gonna try to set it up here shortly, and buy more fish after New Year's. I want medium and dark brown gravel, but I haven't been able to find any anywhere, so I have to use the yellow, gold and light brown gravel that I have in the tank now, plus some pieces are reddish. Guess I have to keep looking and change it all out some other day if I find the gravel I'm looking for.

New aquarium picture coming ASAP.
:)

Good pic.. He/she is lovely.. :good:
Thank you!

Ya mean picture by picture during setup? Nah, I had to set the new tank up quickly `cos it was getting late and I had to go to bed as soon as I got done, also needed to get the fish in the new tank so they didn't have to stay in the bucket longer than it took to set the new tank up. I'm still sleepy from working on it after midnight. :zz
