well my pleco has been spotted eating for the first time, my zebra danio has been spotted laying eggs and i spotted some fry

today my plec ate some flakes then he ate a shimp pellet (hey it was given right infront oh his face :p ) it was so funny when he was eating it he was acually "sucking it" so the whole pellet is inside his house, my clowns were atacking his mouth but no use!

he at the whole thing in less than 1 minute

then he was mad at the clowns for being near "his" wood and started SUCKING on the clown loach's back.

i remember people talking about how plecs suck of disk shaped cichlids...now i rmb that angel fish are disk shaped too..so what if my plec suck on my angel's side? is it a really big deal? i mean he let's go after a few second not acually riding on the loaches...maybe he was just mad for them being near "his" wood

Plecs can be attracted to the mucus secreted from the skin of a discus... don't know about angels. This can be a big danger to the discus because it damages their protective slime coating leaving them susceptible to diseases and such. Also it can cause severe injury and trauma, especially if it's a big plec.

My large angels have never been sucked by my large plec hes more of a danger to my butterfly fish when hes does a run up to the top of the tank, knocks them flying!! But they are getting a new larger home on the weekend so that ahould hopefully stop! :D

:S good thing he is still shy and only attacks my clown when they nip his mouth when he is sucking on the sinking shrimp pellets
