My water

Why is my water always slightly brown and in the lfs and other places it looks crystal clear.
My filters all fine, change the carbon filter and pre filter when stated.

do you do water changes?

also you might over feed your fish.

Yup, change water every week, about 15-20% at a guess.
I feed em twice a day, might cut down to once from reading some things on here.
Its real bad at the moment cause of this MURKY!!!

DOH!!!! I never thought of that
Said it didnt need soaking or anything before going in the tank on the label.
What can i do now? Or will it always be slightly dirty?

Take out the bog wood and clean it one part bleach and 10 pats water. akes sure you rinse in really really good!!! Then do about 30% water change. After the wood is dry you can add that back to your tank and wait. Hopfully everything will clear up for you.
