My VERY VERY VERY VERY weak platty

okay this female platty ahs given birth around 1 -2 months ago and she hides all day. then todya she came out, she is SO SKINNY she hasnt eaten for like 1 month., u cant blame her, i even thought she was dead and when she came out other platties were harassing her =( so i moved her to my other tank, very peaceful. i noticed that she is missing 2 fins that the suppose to be infront of another one....um look at pic below to see if u understand and she is injured badly because of that point or so i think ,she is alwasy on the bottom of the tank not movin

No one is wiling to help........i cannot beleive this

....i am already sad not knowing if the "fins" will grow back.......

try putting her in a breeder tank and feeding her something she doesn't have to compete for. fins can grow back i have heard. at least she will get to eat and that will strenghthen her. sorry i can't be more help, i am pretty new at this.

I don't like to euthanize, personally if it were my fish I would keep her quarantined in a tank that has some hiding spots since she's been through an ordeal, maybe add some stress coat, and give her a few days to see how she does. I have known quite a few fish that have lived fine with various handicapps. I have a Buttikoferi cichlid who lost both eyes in the bag while being delivered to my house. After he got used to it, he's has now done very well. Hope this helps and I'm sorry about your fish
