The setup is only just over a week old, and i've sort of run out of money so i didn't have the funds for all the live plants that i want, or for the other stuff i want. When i do get some money, i'll be replacing all the fake plants with real plants.

Anyways, here's the tank.

And here are my fish. I only have 5 right now, but in the next few months i'll slowly be adding more. :)

Smart to start the tank out with the danios... they are hearty and neat little fish. What type of substrate is that? You said that you may go to real plants when you have saved up some money, what is your lighting like? You may want to really read up on the planted tank before you dive in, they are my personal favorite but there is a lot to doing it successfully.

Danios prefer faster water. When you get the cash, you could make a fast water tank:

-Getting appropriate lighting and materials to grow plants
-A strong powerhead to make a strong current
-Make a tank using wood, and only plants that can stand fast current, meaning vallisneria species, sagiteria, and ferns. Most thin stream-lined fish prefer this type of set up including most algae eating loaches/sharks, danios, hatchet fish, some of the thinner rasboras, ottos, and possibly cories.

i think u should get a background for the back, and when taking pictures, do it at night with all the lights off. It will be a much better pic. anyhow, nice tank, how big is it
