My turtle tank

I took some pix of my turtle tank. The back and sides are a little dirty, but the front is clean. I only get about 1/2 hour to clean and maintain all my tanks & fish so the turtle tanks gets a little neglected, still I think it looks kina kewl.

I plan on taking everything out of the tank, the under gravel filter need to be cleaned, this setup has been going for almost 2 years now.

I made a movie to show how tame this little guy is. He eats out of my hand, but I don't do that much, sometimes he accidentaly gets my finger and that hurts. When he does that he lets go right away, but still.
The movie shows him getting on my hand, whenever I place my hand in the tank he gets on it so I can take him out. He/she loves me to walk around the room holding him like an airplane (should have took a vid of that).

My 55 fish tank was oaverrun with snails. I threw some in the turtle tank to keep it clean and the turtle just loved them, eating them that is. So now I catch as many snails as I can daily and drop them in.

Lovely! I have always wanted a turtle tank, its got to be on my list for things to have if i am ever rich enough to afford an entire room dedicated to fish tanks etc.
