My Trix Died :(

Poor girl, she was in our 5gal hex tank. Got extremely stressed out due to our cat suddenly noticing the fish and wanting to jump at the tank whenever he saw them.
FInally was able to move her tank, but I don't think I acted quickly enough. She ate, but never swam around much and just slowly died

RIP Trix.. my last remaining betta.... hopefully not THE last though.... sigh...

Her when she was in the sorority tank.. she was moved to the 5gal though when she started to become too aggressive..

I was expecting it to happen, but of course that slim chance that she'd pull through was always there that I was hoping for.

At least she didn't develop dropsy like my past 4 or so bettas... that is one symptom that makes my stomach turn.

Oh poor lil thing!

I have a water spray bottle ready to fire at my cats whenever they take fancy to my tanks. I have four and they dont notice them most of the time. They have coped a few squirts of water though.
