My Trip to pet goods

well they recently opened a pet goods store around my area so i thoguht id check it out and when i went i was very disapointed about 70% of the bettas fins were all gone and the place was disgusting so i went to an empolyee and boy did i make her cry

ahhh man poor betta :(

That was a bit harsh wasn't it? I understand the need to tell somebody about the problem, but being polite usually gets you a much better response.

Plus it's not the assistant's fault, it's the management who need to get their finger out.
 
Your cruel, seriouly I hate customers like you. Personally i work in retail not in a fish store mind you but in retail none the less. And nothing pissing off more than when costumers take out their bad mood on you. I have had customers that have made me cry in the pass. Over what? stupid return policy they were just yelling and yelling and wouldn't stop. Talk to the manger honestly in most situation the employees agree with you and want to help the situation its in most cases the management that could give a hoot less. If it just opened close your mouth and think about the bloody situation.

With everything going on a new store opening up products to put out and mostly a huge swamp of people load of people who like you were checking out the new store it's hard to get caught up and notice problems. Did you even ask her if she was aware of the problem or if she was planning on doing somthing about it.

You have no right to make someone else cry and in my opinion your a pretty sick person. However harsh that sounds!
 
I am assuming that this LFS is a chain, if so, the best way to approach a situation like this is to write a detailed letter about the conditions and the shop to the corporate office. I think it would be more professional and then if you can, get a petition started. Screaming and yelling doesn't accomplish anything, it also makes you look bad.

I don't really think that's too harsh. I worked in retail myself for several years and I've dealt with many customers who thought bullying/shouting/aggression was the way to get things done.

I have never cared to help a customer with that sort of attitude, however, if someone is pleasant and polite I will go out of my way to resolve the situation.

In this situation, if I were BettaMania I would either write or telephone the store and apologise for my behaviour.
 
well sry there were about 30 bettas and all of there fins were almost gone and i didnt make her cry i was being sarcastic but i did get my point through to her
