Hi,
This has been going for a day or so. I noticed one of my whiteskirt tetras moving her fins rapidly and swimming in a 45 angle position pointing upwards, if she stops moving for a split second she kinda sinks a bit. I see she's struggling to keep her balance and this prevents her from eating properly. I can see she has her appetite (a mighty good one I might add) but she has trouble just reaching the floating flakes.
Any advice?

Sounds like swim bladder try some shelled peas or her, cook peas in boiling water for a few minutes, let cool down, pop out of shell, and mush between fingers and add to the tank.
To many dried foods can lead to swim bladder thats why a varied diet is so important, frozen foods and veg, plus frozen daphnia is very good for digesting the fish food.
