This is my new tank its a rena start up tank 25litres (uk), it at the momment holds 4 pristella tetras (x-ray tetras) while the tank is cycling, *there are only four, its a mirrored back*, the terrocotta pot was supposed to be a temporary hiding spot but its really growing on me  ....

Once the new tank is ready all the other fish will be transfered over, the old tank will then be kept as a spare...just in case :) any ideas or comment very welcome :)

:thanks:

your fish and tanks are looking good, not sure about the gravel in the first one, not my personal choice but hey. What other fish are you putting in the 2nd one after it's cycled? :good:

hi
your rena looks better than mine :hyper: ,you could add a live plant i have an amazon sword in mine its doing very well, good luck with you cycling. :)

 donna, its very basic, but i love it, i think its a deffo improvement to my first one, i would love to add a plant (real) but i have only just grasped the basics (after nearly a year ) so dont want to do anything else wrong  maybe in a few months i will change one for a real :)

looking good :good: id add a few more plants if it was me,thats a personal thing though

I have a large plastic plant in front of my heater and its caused no problems. Its not touching the heater it just hides it a bit. :)

I would just add some more plants looking good tho deffo an improvement nice job :good:

thanks everyone

I will add some more plants to my new one, maybe some real ones? but not quite yet. My tetras from my old tank will be moving over in two lots in the next 2-6 weeks. and then i am going to change the gravel in the old tank and put more plants etc, maybe some bog wood if i am feeling brave, and then get my guppie some friends
