Sand every time :good:

its all your chice, i think a fine gravel is nice. have you read up on cycling the tank?

yep =- read up

still reading!

can i not have both? just cos they might like a nice sand bath (lol)

i think you can and the details is all up to you-
you can have half sand half fine gravel
just arrange it for a nice effect-

if i were you i'll go for
black gravel and black sand-

:good:

ive bought a little bag of gravel (which covered ating part of the tank its that big lol!)

which looks really nice - the tanks (and stand) is black -the gravel is brown/white with little part of subtle green in

do you have background already---
juwel 3D BGs are cool----

you might want to check it out--
a bit pricey--but very nice!!!

:D

Mixed Gravel and Sand looks a bit tacky imo and Sand all the way...!!!!, All up to what you think looks good...

fair enough lol!

but what about the plants? how do i plant them properly?

also how deep should the gravel be?

on online-- i usually trust this sites cause most of my transactins are from them:

http://www.seapets.co.uk/

http://www.rocketaquatics.co.uk/

and look for Juwel Backgrounds -

and as Ace Of Spades said SAND is better-
in my case-- i have no choice but to stick with my black gravel ATM.
