Thanks guys!
All is going very well. Been set up since late October and my only losses were one oto a few days ago and the mysterious disappearance of one of my female pencilfish. I noticed she was missing after a water change and never found the body. She had been fine before that. My Cockatoos have even spawned but I wasn't ready for that and unfortunately the fry got picked off. I may try a spawn in a spare 10 gal I have. Some plants are doing great - others not so well. I expected that however and will replace the ones that don't make it with more of the ones that are thriving. I'm just getting back into the hobby after a long time and I feel like a kid again. Loving this forum too! My early fishkeeping was pre-internet. I've learned so much in the past few months and give a lot of credit for my success to what I have learned here and elsewhere on the 'net.

Not at all. None of them eat plants or bother them in the least. The otos do a nice job of keeping them clean too.
