Hi iv not used this site properly in a good few months but I have more time now so I thought id set up a thread where I can talk about my tank and get advice for it as well.
I see my tank as having a central American cichlid theme although I have a few species from asia, Africa and south America in there and out of the 16ish fish I have in there only two are cichlids lol.
The tanks a bowfront jewell 260ltr and has :
My future plans for the tank are to rescape with more plants and either up the number of platies, or replace the danios with a larger shoaling fish like empror tetras or Odessa barbs..........................I would like tointroduce another type of cichlid but the larger ellioti beat the hell out of one of my pair or adult rainbow cichlids I used to have in there.
I would like the ideaof having a larger group of ellioti maybe but im not sure if my tank isbig enough...............any advice on that idea would be great

Just to add
Bonus points for anyone who can pick out my three year olds two decorations

The tanks a bowfront jewell 260ltr and has :
- 2 thorickthys elliotti (about 8 months old and about 3inches)
- 4 gold wagtail platys ( I don't normally like to talk about colour strains of thing like guppys and platys, to me a platy is a platy but with these guys I love the colours)
- 2 sword tails (one male one female)
- 6 or 7 glowlight danios (I know these are being risked with the elliotis but Iv had them for a few years now and so far the elliotis haven't bothered with them. I have had the elliotis since they were smaller than the danios so that has probably helped
- 1 hybrid zebra synodontis 2inches
- 1 tiger peckoltia 3 inches (sold as tiger peckoltia but im not to sure on the exact species or L number)
