don't have a lot of fish in it at the moment because I had to Put some in a healer tank and others were breeding!

6x tiger barbs (4 of which are babies)

1x Chinese algea eater.

1x Ramirez Ram (male) (Getting a female soon)

1x Pleco Catfish

1x Synodontis Petricol

3x Females Molly (I Know with the Tigers it isn't a good idea, but they've been fine for 4 months!)

3x Firetail Mollys (same as above).

I intend to breed the Molly and move the Fry to another tank!

got a variety of rocks, Black Sand mixed with some white to create a nice effect.

also got air-tubing with holes that I pierced to get a bubble wall effect instead of using an air stone.

my 8' Chinese algae eater was hiding lol.

The tank loos REALLY good to me, probably due to its simplicity. I love it!!! lol, um.... i f were u, i would put 1 tall plant of some kind in the back left hand corner (looking at the tank from head on) just to hide the black edge of the corner! Overall, a GREAT looking tank!!! :good:

I agree, lovely tank but some taller plants in the tank would look great :)

How did you get that bubble effect? i know you said you punctured some pipe, but did you have to block the end, and how big are the holes... im looking for a similar effect in my tank and have lots of spare tubing

I have the same in my tank, except its with two 1 ft airsones, and it literally creates a wall of bubbles!!

I have two pumps because one wouldn't do the job all the way across, so one pump connected to each end.

-The Holes are basically Needpin size, they don't have to be big, just small, do it with a hot needle so it stays open!

Thank you, I like it being simple, I don't like to over do it too much!

and Yes, I plan to put some more plants in the corner.

Hope you dont mind me copying this idea with the tubing. I will be doing mine tonight for sure That I'd awesome

Oh i see! i have 2 pumps as well! i'll give it a go and see if i can get a similar effect, thanks :)

Nice tank, i really like the bubble wall and the blue background

looks nice , i like the rockwork . imo it would benefit from more plants , including a nice tall plant to hide the filter .

Thanks! Yeah, I'm going to go to pets-at-home and get some More Plants.

I've had a variety of plants in different tanks, however, I usually get a few snails.. which I don't like at all, So I'm really picky towards getting plants.

snails can be a problem sometimes with live plants. a quick visual check for eggs and a wash helps.
