only gripe i have is that the background is to light blue, i think with a darker background it would bring the color out of your fish and plants better...

know what your saying sean, i looked high and low for a decent background but didnt fancy a plain blue or black or anything with fish or shrimps on it....... this in my eyes was the best of the bunch. it actually isnt as bright as it looks on the pic but i agree with you a bit. i have a 3d background in my qt tank that was my main tank before buting this one and it looked great but a bit like a dead end..... and they can gequite pricey too!

in all honesty john, i have no idea all the plants are fake except the moss balls. i might take on a real planted tank as my next project.......

thanks betta believe it or not when i have added 2 more angels and the 3 platys in my qt tank i will be about fully stocked...... i think!
i do have a lot of bottom feeders in there 5 corys and 3 loaches that you might not be able to see on the pics and im in the middle of an order of 4 more corys that seems to have gone belly up!
when the corys and loaches are flying about it does look full and i dont want to over crowd the tank, although i am running 2 externals (eheim classic 2215 and rena xp3) on it so i may have room for a couple more as filtration is not a problem
