im thinking of replacing the barrel with bog wood.

and once i have decided which centre piece to use i will place the plant roots into the substrate. im also gunna make a moss coconut cave! i will post updated pics soon! let me know what you think

A bit difficult to say like that with out knowing your set up (CO2, light, etc..).
But some midground plants will be a good thing.

i think the way the plants are in pots and stuff, bogwood wouldn't fit in...i always think bogwood suits sand and plants down into the substrate
