Hello everyone! First post... :good:

I've had this 20g high for about 2 years now. Before you smash me on the angels, i know, i know. I didn't want them in there... Think of this as a good will shelter for them.

I have the 2 angels (hopefully temporarily)
4 Cherry barbs
5 corry cats

The problem is the algae. It's green and grows out long and thick like hair. I have live plants and I just added 2 more when this problem came into my tank again. Before it got so bad I just tore down the whole tank and started new. I really want to avoid that this time... I stay ontop of my 25% weekly water changes and all... What I've been doing is scraping the sides of the tank with a razor and sucking out the algae with the syphon but it just grows back...

Here are some pictures.

If its thread algae, amano shrimp would eat it, worked great for me in the past :)
