hey guys and gals,
We'll after a year or so I have been messing around with planted tanks and here are some pics of what my 20 gallon looks like during those crazy times...I don't know if its just me, but everytime i reaquascape i tend to like what I did for a very short time and then it slowly gets uglier and I want to change it up again...never satisfied....

here's a pic a couple of months..the tank was actually pretty nice until I got lazy...not dozing EI and It got really ugly.....lol

I have been looking at everybody's tank and they all look amazing...I actually was thinking of breaking this down again and doing more of a Amano style tank, but I could get my hands on some riccia plants...already ask my LFS to order it for me, but so far they haven't delivered...Pls give me your inputs guys...I would really appreciate them...thanks

Looks good. SmithRC is selling some Riccia I think in the buy and sell section. try him

Pretty Nice. I like the Glosso or whatever it is.

thanks guys....Is smithRC in canada???...cause i've never order plants online before...how long does it normally take????

Try Pricenetwork.ca it is a classified add site in TO and they have a good aquarium section with some really great people.

Post a wanted add there and someone will sell you some or point you to an LFS. I bought an entire cooler full of plants from one one guy for $40 bucks. A couple of days ago the guy I bought a plant off of just gave me a clump of riccia.

It is such a great site I haven't been to an LFS in a year.

Beautiful tanks. Well coloured and it all looks healthy.
I also really like the design(s).
You clearly have talent :good:

You've had some nice scapes over the year :) really like the first one

ok guys a little bit of update...I just remove the tiger lotus today and added 5 lbs of gravel in the back area where the lotus use to be and planted some hairgrass in that area..also added another fast growing stem plant(ludwiga repens)near the center to help with the algae....

That looks amazing to me! I want my tank to look like that! :hyper: I especially like your rummy nose tetras.

2/04/07....So today I decided to clean the front of my tank by removing all the overgrown hairgrass and planting them on the back instead...I took a few small runners to start filling out the forground again....tank looks a lot cleaner now...here are some pics...

I was actually planning on going to the LFS todayto pick up a foreground plant like the ech. tenellus, but did not go due to the freezing weather here in Toronto today...I think it's like -37 degrees with the windchill..So I just put some hairgrass back in the front..I'm hoping with the space provided my glosso would spread to form a carpet shape in the front...that's all for now...I'm still undetermined whether to do some major aquascape or stick with this design for awhile...
