My Tank & Need Help With White Spot?

Hi, I wanted to make an account to get people opinion on my little man's tank set up. =)

I was also hoping one of you could tell me what the white thing is on his head? It's been there since I bought him a few months ago and he acts completely normal. He doesn't itch against stuff or anything like that, just his normal chill self. I tried doing ick treatment, it got smaller but didn't go away then came back. Three days ago I started adding Primafix: Antifungel Fish Remedy and it's starting to get smaller again but I'm scared it might come back once again?
So sorry for the blurry pictures, he has grown to hate having his picture taken so I had to sneak around.

I don't think it's white spot or he would have most likely died by now. It might just be an injury that isn't getting a chance to heal. What is that floating on the top of the tank?

Really? It's raised a little bit.. and it looks like another little tiny one under his mouth but barely visible.
And that thing floating is one of the little sections of grass that came off his log! I was going to take it out but he likes to push it around sometimes.

Hm, from that photo is doesn't really look like white spot. My fish had white spot when I first started out and it looked like mould growing on them. Could you try getting more photos?

Hmm I see.. I'll try to get more pictures tonight when I get home. In the meantime I tried googling some images
I also read that someone had snails that caused this, I also have snails. Wondering if that could have influenced the growth.

Seems to be the only one that I can find that looks anything like my betta, but it's on the top of his head.

can I ask what the plants in your tank are made of. Plastic plants tend to rip a bettas fins...you may need to swop them out for silk, or real ones. the white could be his body fixing a tear. i may be wrong, good luck with him.
keep an eye the white thing doesnt grow, in case its a fungus...fungus infections can often be caused as a secondary problem in damaged fins/scales xxx
