I am planning 3 new tanks (this may get confusing) the first that I will explain may be the most complex:
The tank i have now (29 Gal):
Common Goldfish
Japanese Koi
Common Pleco
Weather Loach
2 Silver Dollars
Bushynose Pleco
Albino Corydora
2 Bronze Cories
I know, I know, baaad stocking, the GF, Koi, abd Common Pleco all need homes.
will eventually be an Amazonian Whitewater River Biotope which will contain:
2 Silver Dollars (the same as in the goldfish tank, I know "They'll Get Too Big")
Bushynose Pleco(The same as in the GF tank)
5 Marthae Silver Hatchets
5 Black Neon Tetras
8 Skunk or Panda Corydoras
I know, I know, the Silver Dollars will get too big for the 29 Gal.
I was planning to buy a Styrofoam background or do a DIY one, I will have an aquaclear 70 in that tank and it will be heated (obviously).
So there is the first tank out of the way, here's the next biggest (30 Gal):
3 Otosinclus
5 Takashi Amano Shrimp
5 Bronze Corydoras
8 Neon Tetras
5 Glass Cats
2 Ram Cichlids
This tank will have red sea flora base with peat underneath for a carpet of Java moss and Dwarf Hairgrass. I am extremely excited to set this one up.
The last and simplest of my tanks (10 Gal):
3 Malabar Puffers
2 Takashi Amano Shrimps
Will have plenty of hiding spots for the poor Amano Shrimp!
So there are my plans! If anyone has suggestions for substrate for the Zon Biotope or the Puffer Tank, please do NOT hesitate to reply. C&C very welcome and encouraged!
