My Tank Is Being Invaded! Help!

hi i just recently saw that my tank is being invaded by little creatures...i have had these more than once

They look like little white lines and they squirm around like worms! They are about the size of this line __
Some are bigger than that line and some are smaller though

What are these? Why do they appear? How do i get rid of them?

sounds like planeria.
perfectly safe and often (not always) caused by over feeding.
don't feed your fish for 3 or 4 days and they will eat the planeria.

Agreed, I have heard to feed your fish what they can eat in 2-5 minutes 2-3 times a day. This is too much. I feed 2x a day what they can eat in 45 seconds and I have not lost one fish in 16 months now. I have 70 fish.

Thank you so much everyone! They are all gone now. The problem was definitely overfeeding lol.
