Any comments, Critisism (Constructive.....) welcome.

Tank looks really good. If it were my tank, I would remove the Bala Sharks; as they like to be in schools and those neons and harlequin Rasboras could become snacks. Same for the RTBS, excluding the school part.

My Balas have been around for a year or more and school wih my barbs and always seem happy. I was going to increase the shoal but i decided to increase my barbs instead. if they wern't active i would of removed them but the larger one always comes to the glass to say Hi and between him and my opalines will hand feed!!!!

My RTBS was gotten as a baby and never attacks anyone. he plays tag at dinner time for about and hour or so but never nips and its only with my SAE's But i was aware i might have to give him up if he grew aggressive.

As to the neon and harliquins they were more of a snack when i got them by my pictus. Hence only one neon! Now there a bit bigger there more of a bully at feeding time than the rest of them. there like upwards rain!!!!

But i understand your comments and noted. Thanks

V.nice.
Is that the 5ft verison?

Yes its the 5ft. I initially was looking at rio 400 tanks and then i saw one of these and loved the extra height but was too expensive. Then this came up for 350!!!! with 2 filters heater and loads of wood and the light bar. TBH the guy was loaded and just wanted rid.

wow i really like the layout that vallis looks great in there. But doesnt ur plec dig up the plants?

Lovely setup!

Just one critisicm... i'd scrub off that algae on the glass beneath the sand with a toothbrush :)

But... lovely fish

You shouldn't really have a problem with the Bala's, they are very placid, and grow quite slow. :good:

I trim it 1 - 2 times a week as it grows like wildfire. im looking at upping the lighting and adding CO2. maybe not....... I need to move some of the new grown ones. it started out as only a few bits...... As to digging. See the mound at the front..... thats him.... he is about 6 inches now and he also digs up by the back corner the Vallis is holding its self in place by holding hands with a saftey buddy!!! i often have to re bury it. Luckly i have about 2.5 inch deep sand...

Yeah i know i really do. im looking at making up a few tools to maintain the tank as im only 5ft 5. The tooth brush is a good idea thanks....
