My swordtails...

Hi

Recently one of my swordtails died, it looked like the other swordtail had been attacking him so i put him in a hospital tank (where he died).

When i got up this morning my other male swordtail was dead, it had no marks on him or anything but his mouth was wide open!

Do you think he died because the other one had or is there something wrong with my water?

Have you tested your water? How are your other fish?

I have done a nitrate and nitrite test and they were clear.
The other fish are all fine!

How long has the tankbeen set up?

I would also purchase an ammonia test kit too, it really is worthwhile.
In the mean time i wouldnt add anymore fish,

My tank has been set up about 10-11 months!
I'm going the fish shop tomorrow I will buy an ammonia test kit and let u know what the results say!!

I have the test kit and the test came out clear aswell, the instructions said something about matching it with your pH and if it was in the green area it was fine and it was!

So not sure what killed my fish
