My Swordtail "lady"

Here is a picture of lady

Is she a cross between a platy and a swordtail? Also if i bought a male of the same type would he be able to breed?

She is pretty! She kind of looks like a mix between a lear tail and sailfin almost... I dont know.. she is gorgeous though

She looks like a pure swordtail, I would buy at least 1 more female if you want to breed her with a male, just to be less stressful.

P.S. don't you hate it when you get a picture of you taking the picture lol

She's as pure a Swordtail as they come, considering Platies and Swordtails were continuely bred back and forth for color and finnage variations.

Males with that kind of fancy finnage sometimes have too long of gonopodiums to breed. Don't hold your breath if you get one that looks like her. But it's always worth a try.

best looking swordtail i've ever seen i can honestly say, i'm very jealous of that fish. very beautiful and healthy looking!
