I think it sort of a warning to other fish, but when my male get near her, she moves her head rapidly as if having a fit and returns to normal when they go, is this something to worry about because she does seem a little sluggish laterly

:(

It probably her rejecting the male and trying to dodge out of the way. My female guppies always try to escape the males. Males can be very pushy characters, (especially live bearers males) so a female often gets irritated by them but ofcourse males never take the hint!
If it looks like she can't control her swimming, then that's a dfferent question.

Well there is one thing i know when she rejects the male, because my red finned swordtail female does it, and she just simply swim away, thought that particular female has two males chasing her for one thing only, which i find pretty sad, as for Coral (Pinned striped female) i bought a new male pinned striped swordtail and when he went near her the first time, her fins stood right up and then she chased him off, and he did the same, however he seems to show his side to her, showing him trying to dominate her, i guess you could say that she did kinda turn herself and slap him with her fin, but that not what worries me, she dont turn or anything, and shakes her head rapids, as if electric is surgering from the nearby male into her
