My Swordtail Fry

I bought a new swordtail female on monday this week. She was obviously preggers when we bought her.
She gave birth in the main tank overnight. I have managed to catch about 11 fry so far and put them in the breeding net.

not a very good pic i'm afraid but shows a couple of the little ones.

The 1st that we have managed to save from the cat fish. One of my female platty's gave birth a few days after i had set the tank up
So hopefully these will be the 1st i can raise to maturity

shame about the platy fry, what type of catfish is it?

he is a small Corydoras melanistius I think but not entirely sure. As still quite new to tropical fish keeping.

Yes mum is a pineapple swordtail. Will try to get a better pic of her later.

i am relatively new to cories myself, but i do know they prefer to be kept in groups, so pick up a few more if you can, preferably the same as the one you have
