i have been keeping both tropical and coldwater fish for a while now.
i bought a swordtail about 3 weeks back and he has been in my quarantine tank for the whole time.
when i bought him and put him in my quarantine tank i noticed a patch of fungus and insteed of taking him back to the shop
i thought i would treat him in my quarantine tank as i didnt want to move him again. I have been using protazine ( and aquarium salt) in the tank and he is just getting worse.
i really dont no why.
can anyone help ?

100 litre tropical tank
4 platy (3 female 1 male)
2 platy fry (3 weeks old)
7 neon

180 litre coldwater fish tank
2 comet
7 minnow

How is your swordtail now? did he survive? My dalmation molly had fungus and i used API liquid fungus cure, worked great, fungus was all gone in 24 hrs
