Eels will be as active as any other fish as long as they are able to swim with alot of shelter and cover around them, and i'm sure Miagi's tank does just that

Mine always swim about, the coolest thing i ever saw was then they "schooled", all three of them swam accros the tank togetherm, i wish i had my camera
