thats gonna be 6 tanks now lol

REALLY nice tank there, love the planting... next time you say "sorority" there better be pictures of college girls :)

Sorry, thats the manchild talking.

Wow, your tank is looking really nice. I wish I had enough room to set up one, but I need all the tank space I can get for when I do my spawn. lol.

lol well i'll have in total now, counting properly this time

15gallon, 7gallon, both sorority tanks

4 X 4gallon tanks, 3 of which are arcadia tanks, and one unbranded one, all of which are for my males

and then, gonna get another tank for spawning, so fingers crossed lol

thanks for the nice comments :) one of my girls jumped out the tank when i was cleaning the glass the other morning, silly moo, and once back in the tank, she still tried to jump out looking for food

So, now that i got my head on straight...

How do you keep a true sorority tank, when some fish do have the capability to change gender, or perhaps have kept sperm stored because some fish have the ability to store for 6 months or more, sure these are outside the box ideas and all, but i figure it would be damn hard to keep a true sorority tank without daily intervention and checking, cause one baby, one little bit of yizz, and its all over.

Extremely cool idea though...

(unless the wine has me WAY off base with all this)

becuase a male is needed for a female to spawn, a nest built etc etc

they do not change gender, they are true females, some young males are often mistaken for females, but regardless, even if there was a male in the tank the girls wud have killed him by now, so no chance of accidental babies lol

lol, that's what my 8 inch Oscar did when I was feeding him, I had never seen a fish so big jump out right in my face while I was feeding him. Took forever to get him back in without injuring him. He just gets too excited when he sees his food.
