I'm planning a planted setup for my new Juwel Rio 180.

This is what I'm thinking of:

I already have the pieces of bog-wood.

I will probably buy all of my plants form Tropica, hence why it says Tropica in front of all of them

I want plants that are relatively easy to maintain and I will add EasyLife Easy Carbo everyday to fertilise.

What do you think of this combination of plants?

Do you recommend any plants for this setup?

I look forward to your suggestions!

PS. The combination of plants is:

Anubias Nana
Microsorum Pteropus
Vallisneria Nana
Echinodorus Tenellus

all sounds good. What have you got for

lighting?
Fertilisers?
CO2?

Lighting will be the lights that come with the tank, I think the plants are all ok in low-medium light so this might be ok.

Not really thinking of ferts, do you recommend a good liquid one?

As for C02, I'll use EasyLife Easy Carbo every day.

Sound good?

PS. How do you post a picture so that you can see it without having to click on it?

is the lighting 2 x 24w T5?

You can use liwuid, but they are dearer compared to dry powders. The best liquid are

Tropica PLant Nutition (TPN)) = for heavy stocked tanks, contains K & trace
TPN+ = for lightly stocked tanks, contains NPK & trace. as fish produce N&P.
Seachem Flourish.

All available from Aqua Essentials.

For powders you need
KH2PO4
KNO3
CSM + B (trace)

optional
gh booster
MgSO4
K2SO4

see here for more details on powders. http://www.fishforums.net/content/Plants-a...-Index-Article/

This needs pressurized CO2 so you cant use this. though

It's 2x45 W T5

You can use liwuid, but they are dearer compared to dry powders. The best liquid are

So, since I will have a pretty heavy stocked tank (I'm transferring all of the fish from my old tank to this one),
I should go for TPN?
