To a certain extent. The main problem will be the angel in that department.
Also, Bamboo shrimp grow massive, about 12cm.

Normal amano might be your best bet as they are generally quite large and do a good job of cleaning. If you're after inverts, try snails? You can get some lovely looking apple snails these days, blue, whites, yellows and pinks.

Shrimps would also need alot of places too hide, something that your tank might not be able to deal with, since you'll be having lots of fast swimming fish.

How about corys? Lovely bottom dwelling catfish, go for some of the smaller species such as Panda or Melini, possibly even Peppered if you think you're tank can handle it. They do love to be in groups though, so perhaps go with 5-9 Pandas to clean the gravel for you. Is your gravel smooth and rounded? They do prefer that, or sand.

That would give you:
1 Angel Fish - nice big centerpiece fish
2 BN's - possible breeding pair, if not, nice algae cleaners none the less
10-20 Danios - Fantastic shoaling fish, perfect for an eye catching display
9 Corys - Excellent bottom cleaners, the more the merrier.
Snails - Clean up anything the corys and plecs miss, as they work on both the glass and gravel.

i keep thinking about some colourful apple snails, but i dont think i would have anything that would eat the young ones as apple snails reproduce like rabbits...

They only reproduce proportional to the amount of food in the tank. Overfed tank = more snails. Nicely fed tank = occasional snails but nothing to scream about.

Edit: Also, they only come in male and female, unlike other snails, so you might just get a group of all males or females etc.

Okay, hows this for a final stocking:

1 Angelfish
2 Bristlenose Plecos
3 Apple Snail
7 Panda Cory (or pepper)
10 Zebra Danio
10 Leopard Danio

?

Edit: could perhaps put in 5 bronze cories instead?

Sounds absolutely wonderful. You could go for bronze, but you wont see as much as them as you would do with the Pandas. Either way would be fine though, I cannot wait to see pics :D

Still not sure about the snails, as i go away to uni for 2 or 3 weeks at a time and my parents look after the tank, but they wont remove extra snails or eggs.... hmm....
