My Rescued Kittens

So the mother, mimi, was actually found at my friends house. She was trying to get INTO her house all the time. Would greet them by the door and tried to become part of their family. Problem was her mother didnt like cats, so since I was looking for one they called me Of course I wasnt suppose to have a girl.. but considering it was going to be below freezing that night I convinced my mother to let me keep her as my 17th birthday gift (was last year. Well we found out she was pregnant, so I prepared my room as kitten proof! But then my friend called 2 weeks before she gave birth and said there was a very small kitten in her back yard. The mama left him in the blazing hot sun and it wasnt walking!

I rushed over to find a 4 week old kitten not even able to walk and infested with fleas. I took him home right afterwards and got some kitten formula in him. Mimi wasnt to happy at first. So he laid of my chest for a good 8 days as I fed him every 4 hours with hi wrapped up in a dish towel since he was so small. Around then he finally started to crawl around. Eventually I started giving him wet food, and the next thing I knew so much time passed mimi was howling in my ear telling me to wake up because she was about to give birth!

Thankfully I had a big box on my bed with a towel on the bottom ready for her a week ahead. Found homes for them all and decided to keep 2 as well

Here they are last christmas after giving them catnip and we decided to set up our tree.. haha

Thanks My friend actually posted this up when she got on my computer.. she sneaky! But I didn't mind, not like it could hurt

It's so funny how these 4 cats are completely different from any of the others I've had. I'm starting to think that they think there dogs! I caught all 4 cats in my tub this morning playing in water..... now every time I turn the sink on they come running in to play!

Thanks I need to get a picture of them when they have catnip. They go nuts! But my camera broke so I have to use my cell phone.. that will be a challenge.
