My Readings Ive Lost My Fighter!

Here are my latest readings...ph-7 ammonium-about 1 nitrate 0ish nitrite 1ish. Came home to find my fighter deed. Ive done a couple of 50 water changes. Any help?

You need to get the ammonia and nitrite back below .25 ppm and do WCs as needed to keep them there. What size tank is it ans what fish do you have?
