Hi im just wondering if this is normal for rams.
I havent had them long but they seem to both be always at the front of my aquarium at the glass, i didnt think this was normal, i thought that they would find a cave and hide or hide in the plants, they are a pair as i bought them from the shop as a pair.
Is this normal?
Also my females ovipositor is out but they don't seem to be trying to find anywhere to lay the eggs, can anyone give me some advice??
Thanks
anyhelp will be appreciated! :D

Many fish will pase back and forth at the front of the glass its called... mooching and fish are very good at it. :p
I had my blue rams spawn multiple times but you need the right spawning objects. Mine spawned on either large flat river stones or broad leafed live plants. Also, feed them live frozen food(bloodworms and brine shrimp) to promote breeding behaviour.

Mine were the same as our angels, trying to get your attention all day for food. When our pair finally did spawn, they laid their eggs on a piece of bogwood and guarded it so well, fanning their eggs really cutely  . Unfortunately nothing came of the spawn, and they were in their own tank, no tank mates. My female did tend to come over to call me to see what was going on and even after their spawn, she was always very friendly. Unfortunately she did die :-( as did the other female we had in our main tank. They are lovely little fish, but do seem a tad bit delicate. Good luck and hope they spawn for you soon.

Keep well, Carmen :D
