My Rams Are Laying Eggs

Have had my Rams for a month and over the last couple of days their behaviour had changed and I noticed them cleaning. Today I noticed them cleaning a particular stone on investigation I noticed eggs!!! They are now fearcely defending them, its sooo cool.

Also have just introduced two Gourami's and they are hiding out is this normal?

Yes, it is very common for new fish to hide out for a while, as they will most likely be stressed.

And just F.Y.I, rams are new world cichlids, not old world.
