its my rabbits "macs" 12th birthday today now i think 12 is quite old for a rabbit am i right???

Yup pretty old, from what I've read the average lifespan is 5-10 years depending on the breed. Congratualtions on Mac's b-day and your obviously excellent care of him/her.
