my dalmation mollie is in a small breeding tank and i am not sure how long i should keep her there.

she is really fat and has a black spot which is quite large.

she is not laying low when in the tank

what do i do????

i already have a small fry of 6 not sure which fish had them or when they were born

dont leave her in for longer than 24 hours at a time, she may get stressed and abort them,if no fry by the morning release her, keep your eye on her then put her in again tomorow night

ok thankyou how will i know when she is going to drop what signs do i look for like i said her black spot is very dark and large does that mean it could be soon

what other fish do you have that might be pregnant?and i agree with shelagh on the 24 hour thing.
